and the Herts edge.
A deliberately small patch. Three neighbouring districts have their own firms in this network, and we would rather tell you that than take a booking for streets we do not know as well as they do.
Northwood
The core of the patch. Large interwar detached housing on generous plots, the town centre and station, and the roads climbing towards the golf course. Long driveways, mature planting and a fair number of private roads.
Northwood Hills
Denser and more mixed — semis, terraces, purpose-built blocks and converted houses around the station. Easier access than Northwood proper, and where most of our apartment work comes from.
Moor Park
A gated private estate of private roads built around the golf course, with a Grade I mansion at its centre. Access and vehicle rules are set by the estate rather than the council, and knowing that in advance is most of the job.

Over the Hertfordshire border and a natural extension of the patch — Chorleywood Road, the Aquadrome side, Batchworth Heath and the lanes between. Period cottages alongside substantial family houses.

The village at the northern edge of Hillingdon. Older village property, farm approaches and the closest thing to genuinely rural access anywhere in the patch — narrow lanes and limited turning space.
Sandy Lodge & Copse Wood
The wooded fringe between Northwood and the Hertfordshire border. Large plots, private drives, and properties where the vehicle frequently cannot get close to the door.
Three districts we do not take
Watford (WD). Has its own firm in this network covering the town and the surrounding Hertfordshire area. It is a substantial patch in its own right and they know it far better than we would.
Pinner (HA5). Likewise — a dedicated Pinner firm covers it. We share the boundary around Northwood Hills but the Pinner core is theirs.
Ruislip and Eastcote (HA4). Covered separately within the network rather than by us.
If you are in any of those, ask us anyway and we will point you at the right firm. It costs you a minute and gets you somebody who knows your road.
